Olhausens delighted to sponsor GAA Camoige

Olhausens are delighted to announce their new three year deal to sponsor Dublin Camogie. As the Camogie Association celebrates its centenary year it is appropriate that a traditional Dublin company has joined with the Association in Dublin to support the development of the game in the capital over the next three years.
Managing Director, Denis Murphy says, "We in Olhausens celebrated our centenary in 1996 and have entered our second hundred years with gusto, developing new products and markets and enhancing the skill base of our work force. We are proud to be associated with the sport of camogie in Dublin and are confident that the sponsorship will support those charged with developing Dublin Camogie in its second century. We hope to see the county teams build on the progress made in the last few years, integrating the superb talent coming through at the under age and development squads and putting Dublin back on the National scene as All-Ireland contenders." He added that it is also important to develop the club scene, particularly at underage level and is confident that the sponsorship will be used to promote the game amongst Dublin's young girls.
Des Hurley, Olhausens sales director, welcomed the sponsorship deal and said, "This sponsorship agreement is consistent with our efforts to promote our brand within the greater Dublin area, which has been the foundation of our company"s growth. We hope that it will also help Dublin Camogie recapture old glories, by soon repeating its last All-Ireland success in 1984 and strengthening its position among the sports available to ladies in Dublin. Des's legendary uncles, the late Des and Lar Foley, were no strangers to great Dublin days in Croke Park and Des says it would give him immense pleasure to see the Dublin Camogie players follow in his illustrious uncles' footsteps by climbing the Hogan Stand steps on All-Ireland day as victors.
Marie O'Brien, Chairperson of Dublin Camogie County Board, is delighted to endorse this new sponsorship deal with Olhausens on behalf of the County Board. Marie says, "This is a very exciting and welcome development for Dublin camogie. It will enables us to build on and to sustain recent progress as well as promoting the game in the capital. It will allow further investment in our juveniles and development squads and will provide greater support the county teams. It is fitting that this deal is reached during Camogie's Centenary Year. We look forward to a rewarding and successful partnership." She urges players, supporters and friends to support Olhausens, proud new sponsors of Dublin Camogie.
